I recently bought a Wii Balance Board and I am loving it! I love the fact that I can exercise in the comfort of my home and I do not need to go to the gym.
I hate going to the gym and I am not comfortable exercising in public.
Therefore, the Wii and the Balance Board are perfect for me.
I have tried a number of Wii Balance Board games that came with the board, but my favorites so far are Skateboarding, Circus Juggling, Hula Hooping, Island Cycling, Rhythm Parade, Perfect 10 and Segwaying.
Most of the games are on the same island, which means there is no dying if you make mistakes.
I can also collect points while playing, and I am currently having a competition with my roommates.
There is a multiplayer mode too, which means more fun for everyone.
I can also pick as many activities that I like and make up my own exercise routine.
There are various Yoga Postures and Strength Training options.
The Wii will let me know how long the total routine will take.
As I start the routine, each activity will be checked off as I go.
There is also a calendar that I can stamp, each day I work out.
Very motivational.
I also like it that I can calculate my BMI using the Wii by entering my height, while the Wii Balance Board measures my weight.
You see, I am trying to lose some weight, therefore, the BMI calculator is a plus.
I can also choose from its selection of food and try to burn as much calories as the food has.
It is a fun and more interesting way to motivate me to work out.
I love the Wii Balance Board because unlike other game stations, the Wii is very easy to use.
The controls are intuitive and even my parents enjoyed it the last time they were here.
