Dreams and Soul Contact

Few experiences can bring one closer to the Soul than that of dreaming.
It is an ordinary, everyday experience which is deeply profound.
Yet most of us take dreams for granted, or make no effortto remember them.
Some dreams are just the "subconscious" reworking events of the past few days, and are usually in black and white.
Others are at the psychological level, and adhere to Jugian symbology.
The third kind do not.
Soul level dreaming occurs in technicolor, but only highly evolved souls dream in color.
These color dreams often are the Soul communicating with us.
Iwill share with you one of the most powerful dreams of my life.
I was studying at a library table with my friend, Joy.
It was kind of dark.
There were many empty tables in this library, which was shaped like a theater in the round.
I noticed that a middle-aged woman in a brown dress, her hair in a bun, was quietly standing beside me.
As I looked at her she gestured to me to follow her.
Joy never looked up from her books.
I followed the woman down some stairs toward the center of the theater.
In the center of the stage was a brightly glowing, golden pyramid, about fifteen to eighteen feet high.
There was an open trapezoidal shaped door in the center of one side.
Beside the door stood a blonde, blue-eyed, tall thin man wearing only a loin cloth.
There was absolutely nothing sexual about this man.
He had lots of blonde hair on his body, and it seemed to glow.
In fact, he seemed to glow himself.
The man gestured to me to enter the pyramid.
I did and he followed.
There was only one item in the pyramid.
It looked like a low bookcase.
The top was open, with no lid.
A blindingly bright white light was coming out of the box.
The man reached inside and pulled out a book.
The book was very large and very, very old.
It had an brown leather case covering it which was open at the bottom.
Straps of some kind kept the book from falling out the bottom.
The top of the case was made of gold and had a sculpted lion's head sitting on top with its mouth open in a roar, one each on the front and back.
The man handed the book to me, in an almost ritualistic manner.
He gestured for me to follow him; I did.
We walked out of the pyramid, up the stairs to the library tables.
He then walked to a place I had not noticed before.
Behind my library table and to the left were some more stairs, which led only upwards.
They reminded me of the kind of stairs which lead out of a subway into the light of day.
As I walked behind this man, I noticed he was glowing like the wax of a large candle whose wick has burned below the upper edge of the wax.
Even his hair glowed.
Then suddenly, I was outside my own body and able to see myself from behind.
The ends of my hair were beginning to glow.
And I knew that one day my whole being would glow just as his did.
What did this dream mean? I was not to know the full meaning for ten years.
But initially I knew it felt like a powerful, life changing, momentous event.
And indeed, it was.
Not understanding this dream made me take my first dream interpretation class.
I learned from the teacher, with confirmation from an old spiritualist minister, (they did not know each other) that the glowing man was the Ascended Master, Lord Sananda, who also had an incarnation as Jesus.
The lions of goldatop the cover signified soul accomplishments.
A golden lion almost always means this in a "soul level" dream.
How fitting that the record of our past lives is "covered" by our collective Souls' accomplishments! This book was the Akashic Records.
Years later I discovered that I have the ability to instantly access anyone's past lives if I enter a trance state.
I deeply know that I can do this only because I was given that book.
In was literally receiving access to the Akashic Records.
I awoke feeling profoundly changed.
That feeling has stayed with me forever.
I suppose I could have been given that book without my Soul ever letting me in on it, but then would I ever have taken a dream interpretation class? Would I have ever tried to do past life readings?Would all those people who have been healed by the past life readings ever have been healed? Again, dreams come on different levels.
But the most important ones are from the Soul and are an attempt at communication.
It is for us to become familiar with the language we have in common with the Soul, that of visual symbols.
A first step is to take the dreams seriously enough to write them down, and then look them up in a book on dream symbols, such as "Watch Your Dreams" by Ann Ree Coulton, or take a dream interpretation class as I did.
If you place a notebook and pen and flashlight beside the bed, with the intention of writing down your dreams as you awaken, you will find you have more dreams.
This is a positive step toward communicating with your own soul.
May there be magic in your dreaming!
