- 1). Combine the oatmeal and oat bran in one mixing bowl. Use the stick blender to grind the meal and bran together. Use a coarse grind and leave some grit.
- 2). Place the almonds in the other mixing bowl and grind them coarsely with the stick blender.
- 3). Add the ground almonds, poppy seeds and mint to the bowl of ground oats. Mix all the ingredients with a wire whisk and pour the mixture into a 4-oz. mason jar.
- 1). Measure 1 tbsp. of the mask and place it into a bowl. Add one tbsp. of plain yogurt and two drops of peppermint oil to form a paste.
- 2). Apply the paste to your face, avoiding the eyes. Allow the mask to sit for ten minutes.
- 3). Moisten the mask with warm water and massage your face using a gentle circular motion. Pay close attention to problem areas, such as across the forehead and down the nose and chin--an area known as the T-zone.
- 4). Rinse your face with warm water and splash your face with cool water.
