How to Tie a Knot That Doesn't Slip

    • 1). Twist the working end of the rope (the end) into a double loop. Make a bight on the working end (a loop in the rope) and push it under the twist.

    • 2). Pull the bight through the twist. The result is a pretzel looking knot with an enclosed bight extending out of the pretzel.

    • 3). Slide the bight-loop over the object you wish to attach it to and pull back on the rope to secure a firm knot connection. Test the knot by putting it under the appropriate weight or pressure you will need it for.
