How to Grow Ginseng at Home

    • 1). Pick a shady location to plant the Ginseng seeds.

    • 2). Plant seeds 1/2-inch deep about 4 to 6 inches apart. If you are planting several rows, space the rows about 6 to 8 inches apart.

    • 3). Cover the seeds with top soil.

    • 4). Water the seeds well. Ginseng seeds need lots of water to grow well, so water them daily.

    • 5). Cover the seeds with about 1 inch of mulch. Mulch keeps the seeds moist and protects them from frost.
