Hi! My name is Melissa Schenk on behalf of expertvillage.com we¡¯re discussing cruise traveling tips. Okay let¡¯s get to tipping, now a lot of the people aboard your ship they do actually rely on your tips. People like your cabin Steward¡¯s, anyone in the dinning room, at the end of the week by the end of the week I¡¯ll assure you they would have gone and exceeded your expectations. Now it¡¯s of course up to you what you want to leave for a tip. Usually 15% is the norm for various things like of course bar and lounge tips but it¡¯s up to you what you want to leave. There are a lot of people to keep in mind for tipping, your maitre d¡¯ but your dinning room staff your waiter you¡¯ll be assigned that same waiter the entire week so you¡¯ll really get to know them and where he¡¯s from and he¡¯ll be very friendly with you. Stay with your cabin Steward¡¯s those two people are the ones that you really want to take of because they that week have gone and exceeded the expectations of you and have taken care of you, you¡¯ll be surprised of all the things they will do. Anything else with tipping as we mentioned earlier in budgeting keep some smaller bills when you¡¯re getting to the airport you might want to tip, tip some of the skycaps, also any of the porters, cabin Steward¡¯s and waiters, we¡¯ve discussed those and your maitre d¡¯ and servers and bus boys but the two main important ones I would say would be the waiter in your dinning room that you¡¯ll have for the week and also your cabin steward.
