• The classic truck driver costume consists of only a few things, namely a flannel shirt, jeans and a trucker hat. Up the trucker quotient by looking for a trucker hat with a funny phrase or saying on the front or even a hat that simply says, "I Like Trucks". Make a redneck truck driver costume by finding a set of funny teeth that are yellow or have buck teeth in front. You can also look for additional accessories, including a mullet-style wig. • The Toy Zone suggests a truck driver and road kill costume set for couples. One partner dresses up like a truck driver, while the other dresses up like road kill. For the road kill costume, dress up with cat or dog ears and add a tail. Then add tire marks across your body and top with a little fake blood. If you're pressed for time, add tire marks and fake blood to regular clothing and go as the person the truck driver hit. • Become the truck driver who's driving the truck and make your own truck from a cardboard box. Use a box that's big enough to slide over your body and cut a hole in the top and bottom. Attach a string to the top of the box, which slides around your neck and holds the truck in place. Paint the box to look like a truck, adding headlights and a grille to the front. Get creative by decorating the truck with flames, stripes or any other pattern. Slide the box on and dress as if you were a truck driver.
