  Pinks, berry reds, and deep purples will most likely always be in style. However, with the popularity of navy and black nails, three new creative summer colors have emerged for the summer of 2010. These three new colors look good on every skin tone and will certainly gain some positive looks.
  
  

Light Blue

• A popular shade for nails this summer is a light blue. The blue is not a bright or deep blue, but rather a light "Tiffany" blue. The blue is very feminine and elegant looking. There are many different companies that are coming out with this shade of blue. Keep in mind that if you want the blue to look just how it is in the bottle, you may need to apply multiple coats.
  
  

Light Green

• A new trend among celebrities is a light green nail polish. This green can be light sea foam, turquoise or lime green. All these colors are popular on the runway and the red carpet. Greens look good on every complexion and add a little fun for your fingers and your toes.
  
  

Taupe

• A third popular shade for the summer of 2010 is a taupe or nude color. This muted mushroom color can complement any tone, but especially flatters fairer skin. This shade can be used for a dressed up or dressed down look, and it isn't as bright as the light blue or light green colors.
