Our feet are undoubtedly the most stressed out part of our body. We basically use them in almost every aspect of our activities and they are also the body part that receives most of our body weight. With all the rigors our feet undergo every day, it's just worthy for them to receive the care that they very much deserve. The problem is, not all of us are knowledgeable on how to take care of our feet. This may be because of plain ignorance or the mindset that these parts of our body are strong and do not require any care at all.
Taking care of the feet is a piece of cake. Unlike our face, you don't need any fancy products and procedures to keep them in top shape. All you need are quality foot cream products and a determination to do the skin care routine every day to keep them healthy. For starters, there are two basic foot cream products that you should have. One is the exfoliating foot cream and the other is the moisturizing one. Exfoliating is very important because similar to other parts of our body, our feet also accumulate dry and dead skin. Use an exfoliating foot cream at least once every two weeks to scrub off the dry skin and to keep the skin on the feet smooth and new all the time. Failure to do this can cause problems such as calluses and cracked heels which are not only physically unbecoming but can also affect our activities as well.
Moisturizing is also very important. Just like our face, the skin on these parts of our body should always be kept properly moisturized to keep them healthy. Moisturize every day especially during the days after exfoliating. The moisturizer will seal in the moisture of the skin, stopping it from drying and also protecting it from bacteria. The best foot moisturizing creams are those with Shea butter because it does not only keep the moisture, it also increases the natural moisture production of the skin. When shopping for a product, look on the list of ingredients to see if the brand has this special ingredient on it to ensure quality.
