Right now, making these changes may feel very out of the norm, but after a while it will become second nature for you.
The following 10 tips will guide you to living a life where health and wellness takes priority.
For those who are working to lose weight, implementing these tips will support you on your path of lifestyle change.
  1. Hydrate with water.
    Split your body weight in half and drink that much water in ounces (preferably room temperature water).
    Over weight individuals are almost always dehydrated.
    Make conscious effort to hydrate with clean, pure water.
  2. Go for a walk daily.
    Get out and move! Walk around the block, take the stairs or take a walk at the beach.
    Exercise is a huge step in improving your wellbeing.
    You will feel refreshed and revitalized for the rest of the day.
  3. Drink something warm upon arising.
    Warm water with a squeeze of lemon is a great choice.
    Organic tea is also ok.
    The warm water is to begin the digestive process and lemon is a great activator for the liver.
  4. Stretch in the morning.
    Babies and animals instinctively stretch upon arising.
    Get into the habit of stretching to increase pliability and youthfulness.
  5. If you drink coffee, drink organic coffee.
    Drinking coffee is a daily ritual for many.
    If this is you, avoid drinking massed produced coffee that is grown with chemicals, pesticides and cured with formaldehyde.
    Drink organic and you'll taste and feel the difference.
  6. Do not use artificial sweeteners.
    Do not sweeten with these chemicals in your coffee, tea or drink beverages that have artificial sweeteners as the sweetening agent.
    Chemicals make you sick, chemicals make you fat.
    Avoid at all cost artificial sweeteners ie.
    Sweet n low, Equal, Splenda.
    A healthy alternative is Stevia.
  7. Do not use artificial fragrance lotions.
    These products are very popular amongst women today.
    They are made with chemicals, artificial colors and dyes and your skin (your body's largest organ) just sucks it up.
    The chemicals go straight to the liver which can cause you to gain weight.
  8. Do not use refined vegetable oil.
    These kinds of oil makes you fat and sick.
    Since the introduction of refined oils, disease in America has skyrocketed.
    Use coconut oil for all frying purposes.
    Butter is better for you than vegetable oil.
  9. Implement deep breathing.
    Concentrate on the air when you inhale and exhale.
    Take slow deep breaths and meditate.
    Notice throughout the day when you hold your breath and try to change this habit.
  10. Go vegetarian.
    One day out of the week, avoid eating all animal products.
    Instead eat fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes.
    you will feel the difference and maybe you may eventually implement this more than once a week.
