You may think that if you pretend everything is ok, then things will in fact turn out ok.

You need to confront the problems in your marriage.
Third, the more you put into your marriage, the more your partner will put into the marriage as well! If you do everything you can to make your partner happy, chances are they will return the favor and put extra effort into the marriage to make sure you are happy as well.
So don't be afraid to put a lot of effort into the marriage! Finally, fixing a marriage does not mean trying to fix your partner.
