- 1). Dress your best. Taking some extra time to look your best can go a long way to getting him to notice you. Make sure your clothes are ironed, matching and clean. Wearing something that is form-fitting around your best features can help to grab a guy's attention. Make sure that what you wear flatters your body and leaves something to his imagination.
- 2). Introduce yourself to him. If you have never spoken to the guy whom you want to notice you, he will be less likely to approach you. This can prohibit him from ever asking you out even if he does like and notice you. Avoid this mishap by introducing yourself at least one time to him first. Simply walking up to the guy you like and saying, "Hi, my name is..." will do. Taking the first step and introducing yourself to him will serve two purposes: it will put you on his mind and open a line of future communication.
- 3). Give him a reason to stare. Applying your lip gloss at just the right moment can draw his attention to you. Subtle flirts that don't seem too extreme or desperate will show him that you have appeal. You should use caution, however, so as not to come across as too forward in your flirtatiousness. While licking a lollipop in front of him can grab his attention, for instance, you don't want to overdo it.
- 4). Be into yourself. While it is true you want him to notice you, you don't want to seem as if you are spending all your time trying to grab his attention. This will ultimately come off as a desperate attempt from someone who is dependent on others to make her feel secure. Casually glancing over to see if he is looking at you every now and then is fine as long as you aren't the one who gets caught staring. Only "happen" to be nearby because you had something important to do on your own, not simply because he was there. Guys love a lady with a bit of independence, but not so much that she seems untouchable or arrogant.
- 5). Know when to be a loner. If you are constantly around other trendy girls, you are basically asking him to be boggled by the beauty of your group instead of by you as an individual. Travel alone sometimes so that he will have a chance to approach you and so you will catch his eye on your own merits. This can also save you the stress of your interest becoming interested in someone else close to you.
