- 1). Remove the back of the thermostat and then remove the circuit board by unscrewing all the screws and freeing all the battery terminals.
- 2). Desolder the thermistor, then solder a piece of speaker wire into where the themistor used to be. Solder the thermistor onto the other end of the wire lead.
- 3). Use the heat shrink on each thermistor wire. Apply to the wire using a hairdryer.
- 4). Route the remote thermistor through the housing of the thermostat.
- 5). Wire up the box according to the wire diagram (check Resources section).
- 6). Connect the DC plug and wire to SSR to the corresponding terminal on the thermostat.
- 7). Connect all the wires to the SSR.
- 8). Mount all parts to the job box, then test to see if it works.
