- 1). Eject and remove any game discs from the console.
- 2). Shut down your console, turn off the rear power switch (if applicable) and disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet or surge protector.
- 3). Power on a small vacuum cleaner or a vacuum cleaner with a hose.
- 4). Press the suction end of the small vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner hose gently against each of the console's vents and inputs for several seconds until the dust is visibly gone.
- 5). Wipe the exterior of console using a soft, non-abrasive cloth such as a microfiber cloth or a clean T-shirt to remove any exterior dust.
