Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you what color eye shadow works best with the color orange. We have our eye shadows right here and we have our orange going on in the lips. So to balance this look off, it's probably a good idea to pick something more in the natural range. Gold is not too bad so we're going to go with that. Gold can be considered a neutral but it's shiny enough that it can give you a glam effect, so it's a safe zone. The key to gold is just not to apply too much. It's going to give you a bronze look, glamorous but it's going to be pretty natural. It's not going to overpower the lip as well which is a very important factor. You can use this color with a copper too if you want to use two colors, a lot of people like that but since it is a shimmer, it's not necessary because we have a lot going on with the texture. It's creating a beautiful dewy glow which is very very popular for the Summer and in the Winter actually and it's going to be great holiday makeup coming up. You can actually work the gold up into the hair if you want to give it more of a whispy effect or you can just leave it onto the lids if you desire.
