All of us at some time will have experienced anxiety attack symptoms to some degree or other during our lives.
In a large number of cases one starts to have these symptoms when they are required to speak publicly.
Do you remember how you felt when you had to carry out a presentation or speak to others.
Even now you are finding just thinking about that time is starting to make you a little worried and anxious.
You can remember exactly how you felt.
You felt sick to your stomach, your knees began to feel weak and you began to sweat.
You suddenly forgot what your entire presentation was about and all you wanted to do is run.
That was what is classed as an average everyday anxiety attack.
A lot of people however will only have an anxiety attack because they are faced with something that they truly dislike.
As mentioned some people will have these attacks when required to speak in public.
But for others it can be the sight of a spider or having to do something like climbing a tall ladder which causes the symptoms to occur.
In fact many who suffer from anxiety attacks will find that it is one specific thing that will cause them to be triggered.
For some people these symptoms are will be much more intense or occur more frequently than the average anxiety attack.
Instead of them just feeling panicked when they see a spider, they suddenly begin to cry or shake or show other obvious signs.
For example a person who has a particularly aversion to spiders, may find that their symptoms can be triggered just by seeing a picture of a spider.
It does not matter whether the animal is in a book, magazine or on the TV they will start to experience the symptoms of an attack.
Some people even find that just hearing others talking about spiders can trigger an attack as well.
For some people unfortunately the level of anxiety that they feel can increase and they find themselves in a position where they have no control over the situation in which they are in.
Some people who say for example have difficulty speaking in public may find that their symptoms are triggered not just by this but by other things as well.
They suddenly find it difficult when speaking to others on the phone or when they even have to deal with their co-workers.
These people then find it extremely difficult to cope with their careers and may over time actually find themselves in positions where their anxiety can be triggered.
Over time as the symptoms begin to take more control over their lives they find themselves moving away from situations and losing contact socially with others.
This in turn results in them having more problems with controlling the anxiety and so they find themselves in a downward spiral and their problems become even worse.
Yet for many of these people as long as they seek help from their doctor or a counselor the situation can be reversed.
For these people it is important for them to remember that they are not alone and many others have suffered from the same kind of problems as they have, so there is plenty of help available for them to deal and cope with their anxiety attack symptoms.
