Many think that the battle to lose weight is always a struggle, but in reality it doesn't have to be. There are several small yet effective changes you can make in your diet and daily activities that are very easy to implement into your lifestyle. By just using a few of the following real weight loss tips, you can be well on your way to taking it off ad keeping it off.
1. Motivation
The first real easy weight loss tips is you need to find your motivation to change your current eating habits and lifestyle. For each individual person that one thing that finally motivates you to go for it, is different. You have to find your thing; the person, or place, or photo, or health issue that motivates you. Whatever your motivation is, post it on the fridge and all around your house and keep it in the forefront of your mind at all times.
2. Don't Drink and Diet
Although an alcohol-rich meal does increase your metabolic rate, it also suppresses the number of fat calories your body burns for energy far more so than meals rich in protein, carbohydrate, or fat. While the odd drink now and again isn't going to hurt, the bottom line is that alcohol and a leaner, stronger body just doesn't mix. So for optimum weight loss we highly recommend cutting down on alcohol to the barest minimum.
3. Drink Water
Drink at least eight 8-ounces glasses of water a day. Some fashion models swear by 100 ounces a day. Water will fill you up, increase your metabolism, and help to flush the toxins you release as you lose weight. Drinking plenty of water also helps fight fatigue, minimizes muscle soreness, and improves skin tone.
4. Junk Food
Keep junk food out of the house. Substitute fresh fruit and vegetables. If you don't keep junk in the house, you're less likely to cheat.
5. Reward Yourself
Plan to reward yourself with non-food items. Buying some new clothes or planning an outing with friends are just a couple of ways you can do this.
