Hypnosis Or Psychiatry? Which Is Best For Treating Emotional Problems?

Negative situations can produce negative feelings, which in turn can produce a variety of emotions or behaviors that are undesirable.
What is the best way to treat these? Psychiatry or Hypnosis? Be it a divorce, a death in the family or financial hardship.
All can produce feelings and emotions and drive behaviors that people have difficulty dealing with.
These are real situations that obviously give people real reasons for emotional trauma and negative feelings.
However, what I wish to discuss with you today are what might be called contrived situational emotional conditions.
Have you noticed that many people have never been through "tough times" but instead have created there own "tough times" and get caught up into a certain form of systematic thinking which perpetuates their own demise? Why is that? Why do certain people grow up, progress through life, become successful and never seem to run into any major difficulties while other people create their own difficulties out of thin air and never seem to "get over it".
Why is it some people you went through school with and were certain would end up a failure in life, suddenly and powerfully turn their life around and become more successful than those elected "Most Likely To Succeed"? What caused such a dramatic shift in their behavior that literally picked them up from the road of ruin and placed them on the road to success so quickly? What causes and initiates these behavioral and emotional changes? Why do they happen so dramatically, so fast and virtually overnight? Why do some people become conquerors and over comers while others turn to drink, experience depression, stress or even worse, anger.
We have been conditioned by psychologists and the psychiatric community for many years now that change is "slow and painful".
I would submit to you that this simply isn't true.
The psychiatric community typically takes the route of multiple and long term counseling sessions and the prescription of drugs in the form of sedatives or barbiturates.
Many of these drugs lead to addiction or at the very least, a severe dependence, and are used not so much to treat a condition, but to control the patient.
In other words, it does not create the change the patient is seeking, it merely masks the condition and does indeed, make it a very slow and painful procedure on the road to recovery.
Let me ask you a question? Do you think it conducive to this industry to cure people quickly, from a financial standpoint? Or would it perhaps be more beneficial for them to make it a very slow and painful procedure? I would offer this instead.
Thinking of all the people you know.
People that have suddenly achieved a mental breakthrough and become super successful, or even the friend you have that has lost a tremendous amount of weight, I would venture that their change happened quickly.
They had a breakthrough moment.
They had a triggering effect happen that changed their mindset and thinking, a change deep in their subconscious.
Even though it may have taken them weeks to lose the weight, the triggering of their mind is what created the causal change.
Change is created powerfully and quickly through the change of thought patterns and re-patterning the thought process in the brain.
This is where hypnosis differs in relation to psychiatric care.
You see, psychiatrists treat all emotional behaviors as "mental disease" with names pulled out of thin air.
You must understand this, disease is a condition that attacks a biological organism.
A disease is not negative feelings or thoughts that cause changes in behavioral patterns.
You see there are no profits in cures.
Profits come from treating "diseases", and the entire field of psychiatry, psychology, mental health and counseling has been destroyed by the idea of emotion and behaviors being permanent and incurable "mental diseases".
This approach is not backed by one tiny thread of scientific evidence whatsoever.
This is done for one primary reason, to profit through drugs and repeat visits never intending for the patient/client to get well but to require treatment for years or even life.
One of the rules of the mind is this; "whatever the mind expects tends to be realized".
If you expect to not get well you will not get well.
It's really as simple as that and becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
In the hypnosis profession it is defined as a "post hypnotic suggestion".
The same thing is true in reverse.
If you have expectations of positive change then powerful and positive changes happen quickly for the very same reason.
"Whatever the mind expects tend to be realized" usually happens regardless of whether you are expecting the positive or negative to occur in your life.
The bottom line is this.
Hypnosis is an incredibly effective, fast, safe and natural way to treat many emotional or behavioral conditions compared to the slow, painful and drug induced method of control used by the psychiatric profession.
