- 1). Fill a glass vase about halfway with marbles, available at craft stores or online. Turn the vase on its side as you gently fill it one handful at a time, so that the vase doesn't crack or chip. There is a wide variety of marble colors and designs available, so choose what fits your theme best.
- 2). Snip the stems off of some artificial flowers with a pair of scissors. Apply a dot of hot glue on the back of the flower bud and press against the bottom of the vase. Glue the artificial flowers around the entire bottom of the vase. Allow to dry.
- 3). Fill the vase with water three quarters full when you are ready to set the centerpiece out. Light a tea candle and set it on top of the water. The candle will float and illuminate the centerpiece.
