- These games allow two or more individuals to play together, and are often intended for family evenings. "Monopoly: Scooby-Doo Fright Fest" is a variant on the famous board game. Instead of the traditional properties, players purchase the lairs and locations used in the "Scooby-Doo" series. Players use pewter representations of Scooby and the gang as game counters. "The Maze of Mayhem" was published in 2007, and is set in a maze full of monsters. Players must proceed across the board, with the aim of collecting keys and snacks, and avoiding enemies such as zombies. Players can hinder opponents by moving these monsters on their turn.
- A number of "Scooby-Doo" inspired games have appeared on consoles since the 1990s, and are played by one or by multiple players using one television set. "Scooby-Doo: Classic Creep Capers" is a title released on the Nintendo 64, and tasks players with finding clues hidden throughout various locations. The levels are based on episodes of the "Scooby-Doo" show, such as "That's Snow Ghost."
"Scooby-Doo First Frights" is a title designed for the Nintendo Wii, and was co-developed by the series writers (a laughter track is even provided to increase the game's authenticity). Players can choose to play as any member of the gang, tasked with solving puzzles and fighting monsters. - Some free online games focus on challenging players' reaction times. "Haunted House" stars Shaggy, who is armed with a goo gun. The player uses the keyboard to move Shaggy around a spirit-filled house, and must defeat the wandering ghosts by firing goo at them without being caught. "Haunting Of The East" is a maze game, similar to the arcade classic "Pacman." Players must guide Shaggy and Scooby around the passages on-screen, collecting keys while avoiding the dragons floating about.
- Other online games are geared towards solving puzzles. "Scooby-Doo's Magic Mystery Mansion" is a platform game that involves capturing monsters. Players must set traps in the corridors of a house in attempts to ensnare each enemy before it meets them face-to-face. In "Curse of Anubis," players must work out how to cross from one side of the screen to the other in a limited number of steps; along the way, the player has to remove obstacles such as rocks.
