The specific cause of panic attacks varies from one person to another.
For one person, it could be public places while the next person may experience anxiety when talking to someone of the opposite sex which puts a big block on their dating life.
The specifics vary, but the underlying problems and reasons are the same.
What are the reasons? What is the underlying cause of panic attacks? Our thoughts, ideas, beliefs, and opinions are the biggest cause of and reason for anxiety.
In fact, our thoughts, ideas, beliefs, and opinions are often times the biggest problem in every area of our lives, period.
Think about it for a moment and you will see the truth in the statement.
Why do you avoid most of the opportunities that you do in your life? For example, if a friend comes to you with a business idea they have that they believe will make millions, why do you avoid getting involved? It's your belief, opinions, or ideas of businesses, your ability to be a business owner, your belief in the comfort and dependability of a job, or a million other ways that you mentally relate to the idea your friend has.
This is the biggest cause of panic attacks.
If you think about specific triggers, and these could be specific situations, people, places, or circumstances that cause anxiety for you, and if you are able to look closely and honestly at those things, you will recognize specific ideas, thoughts, beliefs, and opinions about those things that create your anxiety.
For another example, many people have problems when it comes to talking to someone of the opposite sex, especially if they find that person to be extremely attractive.
The reason this is true is due to a couple of different reasons.
They belief that person will judge them, they don't believe they are good enough for that person, they fear being rejected by that person, they feel inferior to that person, or a number of other reasons.
All of these are simply ideas, thoughts, beliefs.
None of them are reality.
We say it all the time.
Regardless of how smart, rich, attractive, or more capable someone is, we all use the same statements of that person not being any better than anyone else.
However, when it comes down to the bottom line when we have to put ourselves in a position that makes us vulnerable in some way to that person, we panic and our mind fills up with beliefs about that person that aren't true, and causes us to perceive that person as being better.
If you want to know the cause of panic attacks, pay attention to your thoughts and your mind.
You will very quickly see that it is your perception of those people, places, and thing that cause you anxiety.
Once you understand this, you can very quickly begin to create solutions and change your way of thinking in order to get the results you want in your life.
