Do as many activities as you'd like but be sure you have time for them all.

Another way to meet someone new is if you're looking for a roommate. Try searching for roommates that are around your age and who are in a similar position as yourself. Finding someone you get along with will basically guarantee no boring nights alone.

Workplace

One of the best places to meet new people is your place of work. You spend all day there and if you work at a big agency or company there are hundreds of people that work in the same building and you can easily meet a few new people a day! Try to meet up with a colleague that's in another department instead of just making a call from your office. During the walk there you may see some friendly faces and make small talk and meet a few new people. Another good way is to organize a get together for people at your job and do something fun. You can send out an email with details and it's a great way to start talking to new people in other departments.

When meeting new people make sure to always be yourself. Don't be afraid to just say hello and make small talk with people.
