The Trump Effect

Having just announced a Presidential bid Donald Trump has made it clear that there are ways to rejuvenate not only the economy but bring the United States back from the very brink of falling into an economic abyss this country will never be able to recover from.
In his own words to "make America great again.
" He pointed out some very interesting statistics that many of the current crop of Republican candidates really don't understand, won't comment on and will in all probability just plain ignore.
In all his bravado, his signature hair style, and his uncanny knack of portraying how he alone can fix the many ills of the United States brings to this coming Presidential campaign much need rejuvenation to an otherwise mundane montage of political posturing among lesser flamboyant would be Presidential contenders.
As gorgeousness as his opening remarks were and even with his usual showmanship Donald Trump exemplified the confidence from years of entrepreneurship in which he has amassed a pretty sizable fortune.
A fortune he was very willing to showcase.
He also underscored and pointed out some very disturbing facts that other Republicans fail to mention.
Some key examples included our profound decline in education, our real unemployment numbers, our trade agreements including the newly proposed Trans Pacific Partnership, our foreign policy especially with dealing with ISIS and our deplorable infrastructure.
In substantiating these arguments Donald Trump in his remarkable candor explained what is actually happening with our economy, and our foreign policy today.
Many in the news though discount and even go so far as to portray Donald Trump as an uncredible proponent to the current crop of Republican contenders.
The fact of the matter is that one cannot mistake Trump's usual charisma amid a certain amount of extravagance and flair in his first public appearance as a bonafide Republican candidate for the office of President of the United States.
No other candidate has shown the remarkable talent for pure extravagance with the audacity to prove that his vast personal wealth is a vital tool to win the nomination.
Although he may have a point.
Only one other candidate is not tied directly or indirectly to political financiers, or lobbyists, and he is a Democrat.
With a Trump candidate means that the race for that most coveted oval office is going to effectively expose the rudiments of years of pandering among our elected officials that have paved a very dubious road that only has benefited corporate America, our career politicians and the 1%.
It should come as no surprise either with his past inclinations toward political office that Donald Trump has indeed put his cards on the table.
And, with the current mixture of other Republican candidates one can arguably state that with a Trump in the mix really will shake things up.
It was his unique way of detailing some major concerns that has shown that our current policies just haven't worked.
In keeping with the policy of free trade especially with the TPP still a major issue he points that currently China, Mexico and Japan all have vested interest and holdings that have taken American jobs from Americans.
One part he mentioned was that an Auto manufacturer was preparing to locate a billion dollar manufacturing plant in Mexico.
The problem being that our current trade policies has only encouraged more companies like this Auto manufacturer to operate outside the US costing American jobs.
To fix that problem what Trump would do was to state if you move that plant to Mexico then we would impose a high enough tariff on all parts and cars coming into the United States.
Part of the current trade agreements don't even support high enough tariffs on imported goods manufactured in other countries.
That only exasperates the exodus of the American workforce.
His tough stance on foreign policy was an attempt to bring attention to the fact that the United States hasn't won any military long term victories since the days of General McArthur or George Patton.
Regardless of his flair and the way he presented the facts as he sees them Donald Trump will remain a vital influence not only in the present Presidential race but will bring attention to the growing concerns that money in politics that has exceeded into the obscene realm of reality has corrupted government to the point of being incompetent and just plain corrupt.
Bring on the debates.
