So you know you're supposed to hit the gym, do your cardio and cut those calories to lose that excess weight and get back into shape.
But these are all major undertakings.
You are forever pounding the pavements, counting the calories and doing a trapeze act trying to get to the gym in time for your workout session.
While they certainly offer you the benefits of weight loss and good health, there are plenty of little tricks that you should not overlook if you want to slim down quickly: o Skip the Soda- Skipping the soda just for one meal a day takes away a whopping 3,000 calories a week.
Imagine the benefits of cutting sodas out from your diet entirely.
If there's only one thing you do, let this be it.
o Fill up on water - Drinking 2 glasses of water before a meal will fill you up so don't feel the need to eat as much.
Water also helps flush out the toxins and keeps those muscles hydrated.
o Take the Stairs - One small step at a time does not seem like it can do much, but over a year of climbing those stairs and you'll find that it has helped you lose at least 5 lbs of fat - A giant leap towards weight loss indeed! o Never shop when you are hungry - Eat a hearty meal before going out to do your grocery shopping and you'll find that those scrumptious goodies don't look as tempting as they do when you shop on an empty stomach.
Go on and try it! o Eat your food slowly - The brain takes about 20 minutes to register that it is full.
Eating slowly give your brain enough time to send out the signals of satiety, helping you to eat only what you need to.
Wolfing down your meals quickly leads to consistent overeating and eventual weight gain.
Photographs of yourself when you were in great shape can act as a great incentive.
Put up plenty of them on your refrigerator, on your bathroom mirror and above your cooking space to help nudge you along and keep you moving on the right track.
