- 1). Put a sheet of newspaper on a table. Put a 35 mm plastic film can lid face down on the newspaper. Cut an "X" in the center of the lid with a utility knife.
- 2). Unscrew the battery cap from the back end of the Maglite flashlight. Remove the batteries from the battery compartment. Dispose the battery cap, and reserve the batteries for some other purpose.
- 3). Grab the flashlight by the battery cap end. Use pliers to hold the front (bulb) end of the flashlight, and twist the pliers to separate the front of flashlight from the back.
- 4). Pull out the bulb assembly from inside of the back end of the flashlight with pliers. Dispose the bulb assembly.
- 5). Drill a hole in the side of the flashlight with the power drill, starting at one end. Drill another hole a quarter inch from the first. Continue drilling holes down the side of the flashlight body until you reach the other end. Measure a quarter inch to the left from the hole just drilled in the end. Drill another hole at that spot.
- 6). Measure a quarter inch from the hole just drilled across the side of the flashlight. Drill a hole. Continue drilling holes in the side until you reach the other end. Repeat this procedure until all of the sides of the flashlight have holes drilled into them.
- 7). Tear off four squares of toilet paper. Roll the strip of toilet paper into a tube around one of your fingers. Place the tube of toilet paper into the back end of the flashlight.
- 8). Apply bonding glue around the rim of the back end of the flashlight. Place the front end of the flashlight onto the back end. Hold the two ends together until the bonding glue adheres to them both. Let the bonding glue set for a day.
- 9). Remove the reflector from the front of the flashlight by pushing the reflector lens out of the reflector with your finger. Dispose of the reflector lens. Screw the reflector back onto the front of the flashlight.

Apply bonding glue to the rim at the back end of the flashlight. Place the inside of the 35mm plastic film can lid against the back end of the flashlight. Let the bonding glue set for a day. - 11
Push the tip of a pellet gun barrel into the "X" in the 35mm plastic film can lid. Go outdoors. Aim the gun at a tree or rock. Press the trigger to fire the pellet through the Maglite gun suppressor.
