- 1). Wipe the area of the hologram that you are going to clean with a cloth. Dry the area completely with a blow dryer.
- 2). Wrap the points of a tweezers with cotton balls. Hold the edge of the hologram with the tweezers. The cotton balls prevent scratching the hologram.
- 3). Spray the hologram with a can of compressed air. The compressed air removes dust and other dirt that can damage the hologram.
- 4). Pour photographic emulsion cleaner onto a soft cloth. Wipe the hologram lightly to prevent damaging it. Photographic emulsion cleaner dries instantly. A cloth that is designed to clean monitors or glasses work best.
