Are you interested in animated movies? Every year the technology of computer generated animation improves and there are new and exciting fully animated feature-length movies released.
Some are good, some not so good.
Here are my picks for the top animated movies of 2008 are as follows.
  (1) Horton Hears a Who Starring Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, and Carol Burnett this is a wonderful retelling of a the Dr.
Seuss classic.
  (2) Wall-E Wall-E is the waste collecting robot left to rehabilitate earth so that humans can eventually repopulate the planet.
Left to his own devices he creates a home for himself and ultimately finds love.
(3) Bolt John Travolta stars as Bolt, a dog who's a television star and has no concept of reality.
Action and adventure follow when he is accidentally set free in the real world.
(4) The Tale of Despereaux This movie boasts an all-star cast of Matthew Broderick, Dustin Hoffman, Emma Watson, Tracey Ullman, Kevin Kline, William Macy,  Frank Langella, and more!  The story line revolves around the castle princess, a mouse who would rather read  books than eat them, an unhappy rat, and a girl with cauliflower ears.
  (5) Kung Fu Panda Starring Dustin Hoffman and Jack Black.
Unlikely Po the Panda finds himself living his dream as he is chosen to become the next Dragon Warrior.
Animated films have come a long way, especially computer animated movies.
Most animated movies are entirely or predominatly computer genereated these days.
The 2008 crop of computer and cel animated films was wonderful.
