Buckle your seat belts on June 18th, 2010 because Andy's toys are going on another wild adventure! The Toy Story 3 trailer only shows a few cute scenes of a Ken doll meeting Barbie, and so on - but the real story is much more exciting! In the Disney-Pixar version of Toy Story 3, which will also be shown in IMAX 3D this year, Andy's heading to college - and the toys aren't put in the attic like they're supposed to be.
Andy picks his one favorite toy to keep with him - Woody, of course.
The rest of his childhood friends are supposed to be put in the attic, but Andy's mom has a mishap and accidentally throws them away! Hurt and distraught, the toys make a break for it and sneak inside a donation box heading to Sunnyside Daycare Center.
Upon their arrival, Woody finds it hard to convince the others that Andy didn't mean to get rid of them - and some of them want to start over with the daycare kids.
Woody doesn't give up on Andy and tries to make his way back home - but not before he gets packed up and sent home with Bonnie, a daycare kid.
At Bonnie's house, Woody meets some other toys - including Mr.
Pricklepants, who details the horrors of what it's like to be a daycare toy at Sunnyside.
While all of this is going on in the Toy Story 3 movie, Mrs.
Potato Head's eye goes missing - and it shows the toys the truth - that Andy didn't throw them away at all - that he still loves them and is searching for them.
And of course a Toy Story movie wouldn't be complete without some toy villains in the mix.
Some of the Sunnyside friends aren't so nice - and they're out to sabotage the newcomers.
The movie is fast paced and riveting.
A few obstacles prevent them from getting back quickly to Andy and the race is on - he's leaving for college soon! Poor Buzz gets hurt and begins speaking in Spanish, causing all sorts of problems.
All of the same character voices have returned for this Toy Story release, including Tom Hanks as woody, Tim Allen and Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack as Jessie.
Michael Keaton is introduced as the Ken doll and Whoopie Goldberg as stretch.
Watch the Toy Story 3 trailer to catch a glimpse of what the movie is all about, and then mark your calendars to see it in full on June 18th, 2010 in theaters nationwide - in IMAX 3D for the best visual effects!
