Get Out of Your Funk and Create a Fun-Filled Breakup

No matter how long you have been dating someone--one month, two years, five years-breaking up usually throws you for a loop.
We have all gone through the tears, lies, insecurities, pain, and suffering.
It does take time to move through each of these.
Some help can be found in conversations with friends and family that care about you.
Short mini-escape vacations, massage, music, baths and other methods of diversion can also help.
But, when are you really ready to tackle the dating scene again? At first your answer to this question will probably be "never.
" Dating scenes are very stressful.
Even the on-line dating services can be stressful.
It all can make you feel like you are constantly being interviewed, paraded on a stage, or even just being looked at for a sexual encounter.
After a breakup, decide to try something completely different, get in tune with yourself again.
For example a woman who recently split with a long term partner took up some new hobbies and went back to some old ones she had not done in years.
In one year , she took up painting again and painted 36 paintings.
She entered two art shows and sold severalpaintings.
She even received commissions for custom paintings to be used in interior design renovations.
Best of all she met a lot of very nice interesting men and women, had a great time, and even made some money! She also took horseback riding lessons and eventually went on a ranch vacation.
After a while she bought her own horse and bordered him at a local stable.
There were riding corrals as well as beautiful trails.
Again, she met a lot of nice kindinteresting people and got in tune with nature at the same time! In the Spring she joined a rowing club and started to learn how to crew with a team, the different roles and strategies that are employed by the crew members, and how to maintain the boats and equipment.
And yet again, she met some very different, nice, and interesting men and women, had a lot of fun, and got some great exercise! Maybe you are not as energetic as this mid-fifties woman was, but the more hobbies you can fit in, the more fun you will have; and the more chances you will have of meeting the right guy or gal because he or she is more likely to have similar interests as you have.
Make a list of the hobbies you might be interested in today.
Maybe you would like birdwatching, photography, cycling, running, golf, tennis, gardening, reading or investment clubs or learning a new language.
Start signing up for classes or lessons, go to shows or attend seminars.
Maybe along with all the excitement and new adventures, you might meet some friends that share common interests; the fringe benefit could be a boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife.
Try this approach, it can help.
Find your inner peace.
Good luck and have fun.
