Fort Zumwalt Park

• Fort Zumwalt Park is on the southern end of O'Fallon and is home to the remains of Fort Zumwalt, a settler's fort built in 1812. All that remains of the fort is a limestone chimney; wedding couples may use the chimney as a background for wedding photos. Wedding parties may use the grounds of this 48-acre park for outdoor ceremonies and receptions; waterfront ceremonies are available in front of Fort Zumwalt's lake. The City of O'Fallon (ofallon.mo.us) does not provide any chairs or catering for wedding events at Fort Zumwalt Park.
  
  

Assumption Parish

• Located on Main Street, Assumption Parish (assumptionbvm.org) is a Catholic church with a sanctuary for wedding ceremonies. The sanctuary features stained glass windows, pews for approximately 150 guests and a wedding altar. Assumption only allows couples of Catholic faith to host their weddings in their sanctuary, and the wedding officiant must be a Catholic priest. Wedding parties may decorate the sanctuary for ceremonies, but they must clean up after the event.
  
  

Trigg Banquet Center

• Trigg Banquet Center (triggcatering.com) is in downtown O'Fallon at the intersection of Pitman and Sonderen Streets. This banquet center has a seating capacity of 450 guests for wedding ceremonies and banquet-style receptions. Some of the banquet room's features are a chandelier and a 1,000 square-foot dance floor, while amenities include event setup and clean up, complimentary champagne for the wedding and buffet-style catering.
  
  

The Christy Banquet Center

• The Christy Banquet Center (thechristy.com) is right off the Veterans Memorial Parkway, a five-minute drive from the Bryan Road exit on Interstate 70. Wedding parties of up to 500 guests may use the facility for ceremonies and receptions. Couples can partition the room into three rooms -- Silver, Gold and Diamond -- for smaller parties. Christy's amenities include a dance floor, catering services and event setup and clean up.
  
  

Comfort Inn & Suites

• Wedding couples can host their ceremony at O'Fallon's Comfort Inn & Suites (comfortinn.com), which is near Interstate 70's Exit 219. This hotel's 1,110 square-foot Plaza Room seats 117 guests for ceremonies, and 123 guests can attend a cocktail-style reception -- where all the guests stand. Comfort Inn provides setup service for wedding events, but does not provide catering. Wedding parties may bring their own catering.
