- 1). Turn off and disconnect the dishwasher. Place towels under the water hoses and disconnect the water hoses. Clean the inlet screen inside each hose to clear out possible obstructions and clear the connection point between the dishwasher and the hose as well. Reconnect the hoses and straighten the hoses out.
- 2). Turn both the hot and cold water valves counter-clockwise to ensure that the water valve is completely open.
- 3). Pull out the bottom rack in the dishwasher and find the overfill protection float, which is a plastic cylinder on the tub bottom. Push down on the float so that can move easily up and down. Clean the base of the float to remove any possible obstructions.
- 4). Open the bottom front access panel and find the water intake valve. Take apart the valve and clean the screen behind it. Reassemble the screen and water intake valve and close the access panel.
- 5). Close the dishwasher door firmly, as the dishwasher will not operate and will not fill with water if the door is open. Make a wash selection and press or select "Start."
- 6). Replace or reset the circuit breaker or fuse if nothing on the dishwasher is operational.
