How to Use Floor Polishers for Wood Floors

    • 1). Sweep your wood floors with a broom aggressively, moving all dust and dirt into a pile. Sweep up the pile and throw it away.

    • 2). Check the bottom of the floor polisher pad for dirt. The pad should be clean and sparkling. Buff your floors with the pad, moving from the back end of your room to the front. Move the floor polisher in a smooth left to right movement until you've covered the entire floor.

    • 3). Put 2 cups mineral oil and 1 tbsp. beeswax in a double boiler over low heat and combine them until they have melted well. Drizzle the mixture evenly over your floor. This is an all natural, non abrasive floor polish.

    • 4). Change the pad at the bottom of your floor polisher for a new one. Move the floor polisher from the back of the room to the front, swiftly moving from right to left. The machine will buff in all the floor polish, bringing your wood floors to a sparkling shine.
