- 1). Download and install the free version of LimeWire (see Resources). Launch your program after it has installed.
- 2). Type in the song (s) you are looking for in the search window and select "Music" in the category window. Click "Search." LimeWire will display a list of the search results.
- 3). Click "Download" next to the music file you want to download. When the download is complete, the file (s) are stored by default in the "Shared" folder. To locate this folder, click the Windows "Start" button and click "My Computer."
- 4). Double-click the "C:" drive and double-click the "Documents and Settings" folder. Double-click your username or the administrator folder. You should see the LimeWire shared folder. Double-click the shared folder to reveal the LimeWire songs you downloaded. Do not close this folder.
- 5). Press the "Home" button on your Sony PSP and select "Settings. " Enable "USB connections." Connect your Sony PSP to the computer using the supplied USB cable. The computer will recognize it as a removal drive.
- 6). Click the Windows "Start" button and click "My Computer." You should see your PSP's icon listed together with other drives.
- 7). Double-click the PSP icon. You should see the "Music" folder. Double-click it to open its window. If you do not see the music folder, right-click an empty spot and click "New Folder." Name the folder "Music." Double-click the Music folder to open its window.
- 8). Go back to the LimeWire shared folder and right-click the music file you want to download on your PSP. Click "Copy."
- 9). Go back to the opened Music folder window and right-click an empty spot. Click "Paste" to load the music file on your PSP. Follow the same loading steps to upload additional music files.

Close the Music folder and press "O" to end the connection. Disconnect your PSP from the computer to complete the loading process. The LimeWire music files are loaded on your PSP.
