  Named after former Raiders head coach and NFL broadcaster John Madden, the "Madden NFL" series of football video games releases a new entry each year. "Madden NFL 07" was released in August 2006 for Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, PC, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable (PSP), Xbox, and Xbox 360. "Madden NFL 07" players can play single games, seasons or careers as their favorite teams, and they can use cheats to enhance their performance.
  
  

Abilities

• In the GameCube edition of "Madden NFL 07," you can unlock special abilities to help defeat online opponents. To force the opposing quarterback to throw only lob passes which can be easily intercepted for an entire half, enter "S9OUSW" on the controller. Enter "5LAWO0" to ensure your team does not commit a turnover such as an interception or fumble for a whole game. To get perfect accuracy for a quarterback for half of a game, enter "WROA0R" before or during a competition.
  
  

Achievements

• "Madden NFL 07" players with the Xbox 360 edition can get special achievement awards by reaching certain game scores while playing against others online. Upon reaching Level Two, gamers unlock the "Madden Gamer Level Two" achievement and 10 gamer points. Players who get to Level 10 unlock the "Madden Gamer Level 10" achievement and 20 gamer points. To get the "Madden Gamer Level 20" achievement and 40 gamer points, players must reach Level 20. Reaching Level 30 unlocks the "Madden Gamer Level 30" achievement and 70 gamer points. The highest level is Level 50, and it earns gamers the "Madden Gamer Level 50" achievement and 100 gamer points.

• Special Madden Cards featuring classic teams are available by entering certain codes playing online. To unlock the 1958 Indianapolis Colts Gold Card, enter "B57QLU." Get the 1966 Green Bay Packers Gold Card with "1PL1FL." Entering "YO0FLA" unlocks the 1974 Pittsburgh Steelers Gold Card, while entering "NLAPH3" unlocks the 1980 Oakland Raiders Gold Card. Unlock the 1982 Miami Dolphins Gold Card by entering "WL8BRI" and the 1985 Chicago Bears Gold Card with "QOETO8." For the 1992 Dallas Cowboys Gold Card, enter "W9UVI9" and get the 1993 Buffalo Bills Gold Card by entering "DLA3I7."
