- 1). Connect your HTC Wing to your computer through the USB port. Start the Windows Mobile Device Center on your computer. (See References.) Click "Sync" on the WMDC main screen to synchronize your device data to your computer files.
- 2). Download the Windows Mobile operating system file from the T-Mobile USA website to your computer files. Open the file and click "Run" to start the program. Follow the screen prompts to update your HTC Wing's operating system. Click "Finish" when you see the confirmation message that says the process was successful.
- 3). Go back to the Windows Mobile Device Center main page. Click "Sync" again to transfer the information you backed up in Step 1 back to your HTC Wing. Disconnect the phone from your computer when you are done.
