This is a long waited addition to the Sprint family.
The HTC Hero was recently released in Europe and then a bit later in the US.
I think it can be considered a pretty big hit.
Now while it isn't breaking any records it is a really good attempt at a true, and I hate to use it but "Iphone Killer".
It has a every growing library of some really good apps, and is toppled with a great user interface known as Sense UI.
Now with the Hero out for a little bit, Sprint has announced the HTC Evo.
This my friends is what looks to have great potential.
Sprint has finally listened to the masses.
They have incorporated not everything I think needs to be in a perfect phone, but man they are coming close.
This thing is packed full great features.
Here are a few that have been revealed so far.
4G (not available in all areas but just give it some time) 4G 3G hot spot (up to 8 devices (drool)) 4.
3 inch TFT screen (resolution 480x800) HDMI output (with optional cable) Kickstand (you gotta see it) Flash enabled 8 megapixel camera on the back (with 720p HD video recording) 1.
3 megapixel camera on the front (video conferencing, self portraits) 512 Mb of Ram (nice) 1 gig built in memory and 8 gig card included (hope they let it use 32 gig cards) 1 Ghz Snapdragon (ohh yeah) These are just a few of the features that have been shown up to now.
It is seamless between menus and applications, however I am just hoping that this does not change after the install of a lot of apps and heavy usage.
This phone is gorgeous, and in theory seems to be a very close to perfect phone.
We do not have much longer to wait for it to be released, looking at a June to September release.
I am sure everyone knows that this could very well be delayed longer lets just hope not.
