'Kyle XY' Synopsis

When a teenage boy is found wandering in traffic, naked, confused and no memory of who he is or where he is from, a psychologist named Nicole Trager takes him into her home and he soon is introduced to the world of teenagers, parties, video games and other human activities.

He has the ability to get through a two-hour IQ test in five minutes, with a perfect score to boot. He soon wins over the entire Trager family, who are more than eager to help this young man unlock his past and find out where he comes from.

Season Two Highlights

• Kyle meets Adam Baylin, the man who created him and the two become a family until tragedy strikes.
• The Tragers are more than happy to bring Kyle back into their lives, but are skeptical about what Kyle is hiding from them.
• Kyle begins a strict training regimen with Tom Foss, the man charged with keeping Kyle safe.
• As Kyle begins piecing together his past, he makes a shocking discovery -- the existence of another being just like him.
• We meet Jessi XX, who has the same capabilities as Kyle, but doesn't exactly adapt to life outside the pod as easily as Kyle.
• As Jessi begins her quest for self-discovery, her journey takes her to some very dark places and she quickly puts lives in danger.
• Kyle spends much of the first part of the season protecting his family from an evil company looking to get their hands on Kyle.

• Much of the season is devoted to Jessi and Kyle's journey to unlock their abilities and figure out their purpose in this world. Lives are placed in danger and as we head into season three, we'll soon learn that everything that has happened has been built from previous actions.

Is 'Kyle XY' Season 2 Worth Your Hard-Earned Cash?

From the very first moment I began watching this series, I feel in love with each and every character. Each episode has allowed me to travel further down the rabbit hole of this fantastic series full of mystery, humor and yes, even those corny heart-warming Trager family moments.

As the TV on DVD trend nestles further into our lives, I think we've come to expect a DVD full of bonus features that will greatly enhance our precious viewing time. Does this DVD meet those standards? You bet it does!

The moment I got my hands on this DVD set, I didn't start watching the season two episodes, I went straight for those special features on disc 6. The DVD set offers 27 deleted scenes, an alternate ending involving Kyle and Jessi, a fun and informative view into the science involved in pulling off this show and an exclusive behind the scenes peek with Matt Dallas and Jaimie Alexander. I was absolutely thrilled to find plenty of goodies that are sure to please even the most discriminating and indulgent TV fan.
