This ski resort offers 143 snowboarding and skiing trails, and 25 lifts for transportation up the mountains. As of 2010, the hours of operation at Winter Park during the ski season are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The ski season typically lasts from November through April, depending on the amount of snowfall. The resort has also been featured in USA Today and Forbes magazine. The ski resort has four on-site terrain parks that offer chances for half-pipe activities. Skiers and snowboarders can take advantage of the 33 lifts that transports them to the 193 trails throughout the park.
