Snack on Ice Cream and Be Happy

Why give up on ice cream when you are on your diet? You do not have to quit one of your favorite happy foods.
Eating desserts with lots of fruit in moderation, is the key.
It is suggested that you eat 1/2 cup of low fat Breyers Vanilla and load the rest of the dish with fruit.
Breyers, for example makes an excellent low fat Vanilla Bean with 90 calories per 1/2 cup, and if you load it up with some luscious, exotic fruit you will have an excellent dessert, without feeling guilty.
As we all know a half of a cup of ice cream is not a lot, and you probably will be wanting more, but if you fill the bowl with fresh fruit, this can make a wonderful dessert and and make your it healthy.
There are probably some of you saying, "What about a Chocolate Syrup?" There are some excellent sugarless chocolate syrups that diabetics use if you want chocolate syrup.
I am definitely not a chocaholic, so this is not a problem for me.
David Vanata of Ashland University, of Ashland, Ohio did a study with 240 students and had a list of 62 foods.
Near the top of the student's list was ice cream as one of the happy foods.
They associated food luxury with happiness, which we know does wonders for our well being.
So, why deprive yourself of one of your luxury foods.
If you eat this dessert in moderation, you won't feel guilty and you can truly enjoy one of life's pleasures.
