Today we are going to talk about someone, whose life got worse with each coming day. She was dumped, which was followed by the murder of her best friend. When Veronica's father, a sheriff, holds Duncan's father, a rich businessman, guilty for Lilly's murder, he has to deal with the loss of his position as a sheriff, and opens an investigation service. Veronica is torn between her father and her friends, and chooses to stay by her father's side. She starts working as a part time detective, probing Lilly's murder case and solving others at the same time.
