- 1). Open "System Preferences" in the Mac's Apple menu.
- 2). Click on "Sharing."
- 3). Check the "Windows Sharing" box and click on "Accounts."
- 4). Select the accounts you would like to network with the Windows-based computer and input their account passwords. Press "OK."
- 5). Click on "Network" in the Finder's "Go" menu and select the Windows-based computer from the list of networks. Click "Connect."
- 1). Click on "Start" and select "Network."
- 2). Select the Apple computer from the list of networks. The name will have "Apple" in it.
- 3). Double click on the Apple computer and input the name and password of the Mac account you want to access.
- 4). Select the file you want to open or the printer you want to share.
