How to Copy Games to a Hard Drive

Copying Games to a Hard Drive

    • 1). Place your game disk into your computer's disk drive and allow your PC to read the disk.

    • 2). Boot Alcohol 120% and wait for it to open. (You can find a link to the program in "Resources" below.) This may take a few moments depending on if you are using a purchased full version or the trial version.

    • 3). Click the "Image Making Wizard" button on the left sidebar. This will bring up the "Image Making Wizard" window.

    • 4). Click "Next" to skip to the second window. Do not worry about making any alterations in the first window, as you cannot change any of the settings.

    • 5). Select the location you want your game backup to save to, as well as the file type you want it to save as. If you intend to use Alcohol 120% to create a virtual drive, save the game file as an .iso file.

    • 6). Press the "Enter" key or click the Start button to begin the backup process. Depending on the size of the game this process can take several minutes. Once it is complete, exit out of Alcohol 120%.
