The Illusion of I, My, & Me - Your False Sense of Self

I don't like you When you're not around I talk bad about you I steel from you I spit on your stuff I clean my fingernails With your new toothbrush The flat tire you recently got It was me who let the air out You think of yourself quite often But what are you going to do about? Yeah, you know your deep secret Those skeletons in your closet We all know.
Why do you run from it? When you're not nearby, nor around I happily sleep with your gorgeous lover It feels sooo good and they love it too! Getting angry yet? That's what I've come to do Don't worry, I've already told absolutely everyone All about pitiful, pathetic, powerless little you Yeah, because you're a hostage in your mind Possessed by your foul mental interpretations Distortions, delusions, and lame personifications Anything to appease and cater to your large ego Maintain that illusion.
Uphold those lofty thoughts God forbid you become real, relatable, and soft Fight to be right, exalt thyself, to hell with everyone else It's truly all about you baby - me, myself, and almighty I Keep furiously pushing thyself high up into the big blue sky Until you achieve superiority, rid yourself of vile inferiority Learn how to exist with yourself and thoughts peaceably Until then you are controlled endlessly by the almighty I Emotionally invested, overly attached, ready to painfully cry Alienated from your true identity, as you preserve this falsity Being possessed fully by your own mentally created entity Your false sense of self, a grand illusion causing confusion Creating conflict, controversy, and corrupt comparison I, me, and my is all about personal and human elimination Until you are swept away with the false sense of self And soon self-destruct in isolation with nobody else.
My question to you then is how do you see yourself? Before you take a bow, just who really are you then anyhow? The grand illusion, false facade, to yourself you've become a god Worshipping thyself above all, your pride insatiable and standing tall Your vital energy consumed fully and excessively on thought This dreadful lie you have wholeheartedly embraced and bought.
Is it any wonder therefore why I, me, and my is so distraught?
