Born as children, we departed as children, armed with nothing but companions.
Children no longer we are, but some things remained unchanged.
Bonds of acquaintances forged through innocence shriveled the least in the ravages of time.
Will it stay firm? Or will it decay as childlike innocence is robbed of by the cruelty of life? Succumbed we did not, so never will we.
Seeds are the birth of life, so seeds we were.
Random origin, same fate, random breed, same soil.
We acknowledged our similarity but initial assumptions proved a lie.
Growth was prominent.
Seeds to buds, buds to seedlings, seedlings to plants, plants with differences.
We were seeds of uncountable variety, plants of undisputed uniqueness, yet still a forest of unchallenged strength.
Differences established nothing but an occasional catalyst of childish conflicts.
After all, where lies the originality when there are no distinctions? Tides of time shredded us apart.
None spared.
Scattered yet again.
Nonetheless, the forest still stands, in our hearts, in our thoughts, only allowing a rare materialization every time destiny brings us together.
Fear of separation closes gaps, thus this was not an undesirable fact, whereas a life of stability blinded us of the troubles of the world.
A first glimpse of what to expect in life.
Individually we will grow, and the imaginary forest will to, its firm roots stretches deep into our memories, linking all of us to a common haven.
16 souls, 1 chanced brotherhood.
Sadly, valued only by some.
As time passes, those who forget will be forgotten, those who treasure will be treasured.
False hopes? Idealistic dream? Questionable commitment? A sincere belief.
