- 1). Boil the water and flour in a pot for 3 minutes to create a paper mache mix. Allow the mix 5 minutes to cool. Pour the mix into the bowl.
- 2). Inflate a balloon and place it on a flat work surface. Place the wooden spools nearby to act as wheels for the coach.
- 3). Submerge the newspaper strip into the mix. Press the strip into the surface of the balloon. Continue until the entire balloon and all four wooden spools are covered in one layer of newspaper.
- 4). Submerge a paper towel strip into the mix. Press the strip into the surface of the balloon. Continue until the entire balloon and all four wooden spools are covered in one layer of paper towel. Allow 3 hours for the craft pieces to dry.
- 5). Bond the four spools to the underside of the balloon with white glue to act as coach wheels. Allow 1 hour for the glue to fully dry.
- 6). Coat the balloon in white, silver and gold acrylic paint to emulate Cinderella's magical coach. Allow 2 additional hours for the craft to dry before handling or displaying.
