For eight years between 1990-1998 the Seinfeld chemistry worked it's magic on viewers.
But it lives on everyday in reruns.
Evidently fans never get tired of seeing the characters depress each by the end of each episode.
Maybe it makes them feel better about their owns lives.
Of course, along the way from hope to hopelessness are extreme laughs.
Jerry Seinfeld has stated that he is the least funny person on the show.
He's right, but he is the pivotal character that holds the cast together.
Michael Richards personally is disappointing, but his portrayal of Cosmo Cramer is just the opposite.
Nobody can open a door with such pizazz! Wonder if he will ever make it as another character? George is the person with no redeeming traits.
Any good thing he does always has some manipulation behind it, and backfires.
Jason Alexander plays him to perfection, but has made it in no lasting roles since.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus's Elaine reacts with all the other characters in very strong ways.
She's perfect at putting them all in their place, but not the best at receiving the same.
Julia now has a new, funny sitcom (The New Adventures of Old Christine) I hope will last.
Every fan has a favorite Seinfeld.
Mine is "The Contest".
First, I was amazed that the subject could be approached on TV, and then that it could be so hilarious.
It kept you guessing as each character fell victim to loss.
Of course, Cramer would be expected to be the first, but the ending was a complete and funny surprise.
If you missed it, check the reruns.
