- 1). Cover your shoes with a damp towel for at least four hours.
- 2). Apply the salt stain remover to a chamois cloth and rub it into your shoes to remove any remaining salt stains.
- 3). Clean your shoes with leather cleaner, using a fresh cloth, to remove the salt residue and stain remover. Allow the shoes to dry before proceeding.
- 4). Rub leather conditioner into the shoes with a clean cloth to restore lost moisture.
- 5). Apply cream shoe polish to restore lost color. Use the applicator included with the shoe polish or a slightly damp cloth.
