Last Thursday Tiger announced on his website and in a telephonic press conference he was returning to play on the PGA Tour this week.
The last time he played was 8 months ago when he won the 2008 U.
S.
Open, on one leg.
He's always had knee trouble his entire career and last year at the Open he played in tremendous pain.
After 72 holes and a 19 hole playoff he was triumphant and raised the trophy.
Then he went to the DR.
and the x-ray showed two stress fractures and he had no ACL.
That's right he played 91 holes of golf with two stress fractures and bone on bone.
(What have you done lately?) Anyway he announced his return for tomorrow's Accenture Match Play World Golf Championship.
But today on his website he shocked the world AGAIN.
He's withdrawing from the tournament and retiring from golf.
The press release said the following...
He's tired of golf.
He was itching to play but because of his mental superiority, work ethic, and supreme talent there is no one on the planet that can compete with him.
He went on to say that Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 Major victories was inconsequential and a waste of his time.
Golf is a waste of his time.
He's accumulated enough money to buy a small country and he's going to live out his life in comfort.
Ok, Ok, enough already...
it's not true.
I made it up.
Tiger is returning to the PGA Tour tomorrow to take on the top 64 players in the world.
I was just IMAGINING different ways he could announce his retirement whenever that day should come.
The great thing about Tiger is (despite his golf accomplishments) he's a perfect example of having one definite purpose in his life.
His father and other top coaches helped him develop it.
He is going to change the WORLD through golf.
I'd have to say he's doing a pretty darn good job of it.
He is a tremendous example of a burning desire, centrally focused on one goal that he consistently strives to achieve.
If you could learn how to put those three qualities into your life you might change the world too.
I know they will transform your life by making you happier, healthier, and giving you the career you choose.
Wouldn't you like to learn how to vividly imagine your dream job? To Be the Best You Must Think Like the Best, Nolan Berentis P.

A definite purpose and a vivid imagination are the cornerstones to Tiger's success.
So is reading quality books laced with Universal laws.
