- 1). Plug the USB flash drive into the USB port on your computer system.
- 2). Click "Start," "Computer" and double-click the removable device icon. This loads a window with all the files currently stored on the flash drive. Leave the window open for the time being.
- 3). Locate the video file you want to play on the PS3, then click-and-drag it into the open window.
- 4). Close the open window, then remove the USB flash drive from the computer system.
- 5). Plug the flash drive into your PS3's USB port (there are two located on the front of the device). The PS3 automatically detects the drive and selects it for you. Press the triangle button to bring up a window with all the files stored on the device. Select the video file and press "X." The video file now converts over to the PS3 and plays on the screen.
