Democratic presidential expectant Hillary Clinton summarized a series of what she says "emergency initiatives" to improvise the country's bridges, roads and tunnels.
"Something is very, very wrong when, at the dawn of the 21st century, in the richest country on earth, people are actually nervous about driving over bridges for fear that they'll collapse," Clinton declared in a statement on Wednesday.
Clinton is likely to set up a $10 billion urgent situation repair fund to assist clear a backlog of unfunded repair plans and would tender $250 million in grants to states to disburse for safety checks.
The project also comprises a $1.
5 billion boost in annual federal financial support for public transit systems while connecting those funds to business and housing land-use policies cheering transit use.
Passenger rail systems are likely to receive an additional $1 billion as per the plan.
And Clinton would rise funding for traffic jamming reduction courses while also cheering telecommuting.
Once a group of Republican presidential expectants makes it clear after Saturday's straw survey, it will be the Democrats' turn to attack.
